What therapy looks like

Therapy is a space to intentionally focus on you - your goals, your hopes, and what barriers are coming up for you to live the life you’d like to live. We often get tunnel vision in our own lives and I see the role of the therapist to explore all the underlying assumptions and internalized messages that are impacting our perspective and to gently shed light on them, sometimes challenging them and sometimes just taking the time to understand them and to increase our awareness of them, so that we can shift our patterns of responding.
